Families may join up through October 31, 2024. Membership is for one school year, July 1 to June 30.
All memberships expire at the end of the school year. The membership fee for 2024-2025 is $45.00 and is non-refundable.

3. Commitment Option

VHS values the talents, time, and effort of our members. Without the members contributing to the community, VHS would not be able to offer the variety of opportuntites for our students. Therefore, per our existing member expections, one member from each family is required to contribute to the group in some capacity during each annual membership year.

New for 2024-2025

However, we recognize that due to varying circumstances, a member family may be unable to fulfill a commitment. To accomodate these members, a family may elect to pay a "buyout" fee of $150.00 in lieu of fulfilling a commitment. As our community is only as strong as the members contributing to it, a maximum of 30 familes may select this option, which will be only be available while until that maximum is reached.

VHS Commitment

All applications for the various commitment positions will be subject to review and selection by the board. It cannot be assumed that a member will automatically keep the same commitment from year to year. Commitment requests are not first come, first serve. The purpose of the following questions is to strive for the best fit possible for all committees and members. Commitments will be assigned soon after completion of the membership renewal period.

The next section asks 6 questions to help identify what types of activities or events interest you. Please answer these questions even if you know which commitment you would like to sign up for. 4. Would you prefer an active / sport type
